The Yorkshire and Humber Biodiversity Forum is an association of organisations committed to supporting biodiversity through action for sustainable development and to promoting partnerships with regional and local agencies, organisations, industries and groups.
It aims to provide valuable advice and information on biodiversity issues and to establish close working relationships with key regional organisations.

‘Biodiversity Opportunity Areas Map’ Workshop Presentations
Two regional workshops were held on the 3rd and 4th February 2010 to help raise the profile, and discuss the applications of the map, and how it could be used to guide the identification and protection of ecological networks and biodiversity opportunity areas at a local scale. Regional Biodiversity Audit now available
Natural England and the YHBF have published 3 documents as part of a provisional audit of progress towards the Yorkshire & Humber Priority Habitat Biodiversity Targets, which form part of both the Yorkshire & Humber Biodiversity Strategy and the England Biodiversity Strategy.

New Regional Biodiversity Strategy
